Kicking off with the manifesto demands from tue mixer-media, web-obsessed art duo AIDS-3D, LAN is a biannual that seamlessly brings together art, fashion, science and technology, and opens up to exactly the size of a deluxe Mac Screen. Editor Vanessa So grew up in Silicon Valley – the land of google and tue skywalker ranch – and besame a fashionable Futurist while studying at St. Martins. The first issue publishes Images of Thierry Mugler´s Second Life Island, and Champions the Neurosky headset – a prototype that detects out Body´s biosignals and makes telekinesis possible (apparently).

It´s for print geeks, image honours and those who like reading Fortean Times, watching X-Files and spending inordinate amounts of time in alternate realities, explains So. The difference is – these geeks know how to dress.
